It's pretty rare that a school nobody has heard of appears on the schedule of a Tipton County high school football team, but that's what we have this week with Covington hosting Bauxite (Ark.). We'll let you know about that team and what Brighton, Munford and Tipton-Rosemark Academy are facing below in our Week 2 previews:

What: Covington (1-0) vs. Bauxite (Ark.) (0-0)

When: Tonight at 7:30

Where: Covington

Last season: First meeting

Local players to watch: RB Marcus Hayes, RB Jalen Fayne, QB Carson Ruffin, LB Lareko Burton, LB Andrew Scott

Storylines: So who is Bauxite? The school, located just outside of Little Rock, has an enrollment of about 300 less students than Covington, but if you watch some film on them, they look very similar to Covington as far as size and speed. The Miners went 9-3 last season and advanced to the second round of the Arkansas 4A state playoffs ... Marcus Hayes, who missed the bulk of the preseason, did not look rusty last week as he rushed for 123 yards on just seven carries ... Sophomore running back Jalen Fayne looked good starting his first game for Covington with two TD runs ... If Covington can repeat last week's defensive effort, a win is in the cards. The Chargers held Munford to just one first down.

What: Munford (0-1) vs. Millington (1-0)

When: Tonight at 7

Where: Millington

Last year: Munford won, 55-30

Local players to watch: QB Jaxon O'Neal, DB Kelton Mason, RB Treveon Hawkins, OL Logan Cramer, DL Derek Ross

Storylines: Munford has won the last four games in this series and none of them were close ... Millington has struggled as a program of late, but showed signs of recovering last season, winning four games and advancing to the state playoffs ... The Trojans beat Liberty Tech 20-0 in the season opener last week ... The M and M Bowl is one of the, if not the biggest, games on the schedule for both teams. Expect a big crowd ... Munford's offense struggled last week, but Covington's defense, which is one of the best in the state, was a big reason why. How Munford recovers this week will be an indicator of how this season ultimately goes.

What: Brighton (1-0) vs. Dyersburg (1-0)

When: Tonight at 7

Where: Dyersburg

Last season: Dyersburg won, 42-7

Local players to watch: QB Nick Johnson, WR Bryce Chaco, WR Tyler Burnett, RB Joe Williamson, LB Trais Hector

Storylines: This figures to be a significant challenge for the Cardinals. Dyersburg went 12-1 and made the state quarterfinals a season ago and is ranked fifth in the Class 4A state poll ... Brighton's offense looked very explosive last week in a convincing win vs. Raleigh-Egypt, thanks primarily to its passing attack. Nick Johnson completed 16 of 22 passes for 262 yards, with five guys catching at least two passes ... Brighton's defense was solid last week, led by five tackles from Trais Hector.

What: Tipton-Rosemark (1-0) vs. Rossville Christian (0-1)

When: Tonight at 7

Where: Rosemark

Last season: Rosemark won, 62-12

Local players to watch: RB Mac Fullen, DE J.T. May, QB Tyler Byrd, LB Jordan Artzer, OL Matthew Coats

Storylines: Rosemark has owned RCA the last two seasons, winning by a combined score of 126-12 ... This is the last non-league game of the season for TRA. With the new look DII-A-West having nine teams, the next eight games are all against league opponents ... Mac Fullen, the program's all-time leader in rushing yards and TDs, scored four more times last week in a win at Potts Camp (Miss.).
