Randy Boyd, a Republican candidate for governor, made a campaign stop in Brighton this afternoon for a meet and greet lunch at the home of T. Frank Boss. Tipton County Sheriff Pancho Chumley hosted the event. Other local officials in attendance included Covington Mayor Justin Hanson, Covington Police Chief Buddy Lewis and Munford Alderman Jack Bomar. Shelby County Mayor Mark Luttrell was also among the 75 people or so on hand. The stop in Brighton was Boyd's second on a three-day, 95-hour tour of West Tennessee leading up to Thursday's state primary. Said Boyd: "We're gonna finish strong ... and we're gonna win."  Photos by Jeff Ireland
