Chocolate Tour

Saturday the Chocolate Tour returns to downtown Covington. Here are five things you need to know about the county’s sweetest event.

The chocolate tour has become a Covington tradition

The seventh annual event will take place on Feb. 9, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the square. The tour is hosted by the Covington Economic Development Corp.

There are more stops than ever before

This year there are 27 stops, which means newcomers will join your old favorites! The tour will extend down East Liberty this year and there will also be a free sweethearts photo booth at Liberty Hall Event Center a block east of the square.

Buy your tickets in advance to get the best price

Advance tickets, which are available the chamber office and several merchants on the square, are $8 each. Tickets on the day of the event are $10 and can be purchased on the square.

Bring a bag to carry all of your chocolate treats

When you’ve had your fill of chocolate, fill your bag and take the remaining goodies home. With nearly three dozen stops to make throughout the tour, you’re sure to need the extra help. Don’t forgot to look around in the shops while you snack.

Visit every store for your chance to win the grand prize

Punch your ticket at each of the participating businesses and enter to win a basket overflowing with goodies. A name will be drawn towards the end of the event
