It’s the gloomiest Sunday afternoon! In the high 50s and off-and-on rain. We got almost three inches Thursday, and after rain today and tomorrow, rain again Wednesday, Thursday and Friday! Ugh!
Which leads me to this week’s farm report: Another week out of the field but we got some soybeans cut three days last week. Pray for dry weather!
I’m glad the election will be over Tuesday – tired of political ads on TV!
I went back to Dr. Hutchison Tuesday and got released. Heel spur gone! Yay!
On our prayer list at the Covington Church of Christ are Beverly Russell, recovering from hip surgery; David Higgins, surgery Tuesday; Larry Whaley II, in the hospital; Houston Hall and so many friends and relatives of our members, and all of our servicemen and women.
Congratulations to Phillip Scrip on his retirement!

Their monthly potluck meal will be on Sunday, Nov. 18. The men of the church will provide turkey, dressing, gravy, and ham. Please bring vegetables, salads, bread, and desserts to complete the meal.
