Time is truly flying off its axel these days. Before we know it, voila it’s the holidays come upon us once more! At least we have more cool days now that it’s Fall.
Oct. 6 at noon begins the Fall Harvest Festival at St. Mark M. B. Church on Wilkinson Road, where E. Allen Redwell is residing pastor. The church is also known as “The Saint.” The public is invited to partake in the activities, including fun and games for young and old, as well as loads of good food. Festivities will last until 4 p.m. Irene Harvey of Jamestown is a member of the church and also one of their top soloists.
The Jolly Coteria Club of Jamestown has begun selling raffle tickets for a chance at winning two loaded grocery boxes. It’s only $1 per ticket, just in time for your Thanksgiving holiday meal. Drawing will be one week before Thanksgiving, and you’ll want to hurry and get in on this one. Contact any JCC member or our president LaRue Albritton.
