It’s Fall! And it’s raining in Jamestown! With so many family members in and out of the hospital over the past weeks, God is still showering His blessings upon us.
Sept. 29th at 9 a.m. in my home, JCHO will call a meeting regarding an upcoming Walk for your Health, set to take place at 8 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13th, at Drummonds Elementary track. The public is welcome. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 6-17. We’ll be wearing red shirts, but if you don’t have a red shirt, then you may wear a white t-shirt. Contact president Jessie Cook, LaRue Albritton or Rev. O. Pearl Andrews for more information, or call me at 901-644-5886.
Revival is set for Oct. 2-4 at God’s Grace Gospel Church in Jamestown, with Pastor O. Pearl Andrews hosting. The Andrews Brothers Ministry of Ripley is featured. The revival will begin with Pastor Gary Andrews and the Praise Temple. On the 3rd, at 6 p.m., Minister Romel Andrews of Elam M.B. will preach, followed by Pastor Lawrence Andrews of Truth and Faith M.B. Church on the 4th. As previously mentioned, all are from Ripley, TN.
The Jolly Coteria Club ladies are selling raffle tickets now. They are $1 each for a chance to win a Thanksgiving grocery box. There will be two large boxes, so therefore, there are two chances to win. To buy a ticket or for more information, contact Jolly’s president LaRue Albritton or myself (901-644-5886).
